The best lesson my grandparent (or parent or any relative) ever taught me was..
Experiences in life is the second source of learning. We can learn from our parents many things that schools do not teach it to us. For me, my parents taught me that being positive is important because positivity leads to success and beautiful life.
My parents taught me to think about all the positive things that are happening especially when i face lot of pressure because of my study or other things. For example, when I have exams and I feel I am under stress, I try ti think about the good things that I have in my life to get out myself from the pessimism and depression. Some examples of positive things to focus on when you think there is
nothing are: you woke up this morning, you can breath, you can see, you
can smell, you can taste.
In addition to that, my parents taught me that being positive leads to success. To illustrate, when I feel that I am under lots of pressure because of my study, I try to think that I am capable of finish everything on time by arranging my time and making a scandal. I can tell that this works with me because I try to focus on the strength side of me. Kendra cherry said, "Even if positive thinking does not come naturally to you, there are
plenty of great reasons to start cultivating affirmative thoughts and
minimizing negative self-talk."
To sum up, lessons that be taught by our parents and grandparents are a lot. One of those lessons was taught by my parents is how positivity is important in our lives. I learned from them that being positive makes my life beautiful and leads to success.
